---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Gemma Williams <Gemma.Williams@communityfibre.co.uk> Date: Thu, 7 Apr 2022 at 17:49 Subject: Introduction to Community Fibre To: locknertra@gmail.com <locknertra@gmail.com> Cc: Tony Sanders <tony.sanders@communityfibre.co.uk>, HC Better Broadband <betterbroadband@hackney.gov.uk> Good afternoon, I hope this email finds you well. My name is Gemma Williams and I am the Landlord Success Manager at Community Fibre, working with Tony Sanders who is the Project Manager for the delivery of Community Fibre’s Full Fibre Broadband roll-out in Hackney. Our roll-out is part of Hackney Council’s Better Broadband programme, an initiative to bring fast and reliable broadband services to people living in council homes in Hackney, as well as a range of other community benefits. You can find out more about Better Broadband on Hackney Council’s website, which includes a set of Frequently Asked Questions: https://hackney.gov.uk/broadband I have been passed your details by Hackney Council in relation to our upcoming project at your estate (Lockner). Hopefully you are already aware that Hackney Council has mandated Community Fibre to install our Full Fibre Gigabit Speed Broadband Network across all Hackney Council homes and estates. This will give residents the option of taking up a full fibre broadband service, if they wish to do so. This is subject to a subscription with Community Fibre. Hackney Council have approved our methodology for works but as yet we do not have a planned start date. We are engaging to ensure that we can provide reassurance to residents about what will be happening and to answer any questions you may have. Community Fibre will write to you and all residents directly ahead of any works to your estate. This will include a letter to residents which will be delivered approximately one - two weeks prior to build work starting and will provide further detail about our plans. A reminder notice card will then be dropped through residents’ doors 24 - 48hrs prior to work commencing on individual property blocks. Examples of these communications are attached for your reference. Myself and the Project Manager who is included in this email would welcome any questions or queries you may have with regards to this. If you would like to discuss this further, we would be happy to arrange a call or online video meeting, and the Project Manager or our site-based Delivery Manager can be available to meet you on site to discuss the details of the work. Alternatively, please let us know if you have any questions by responding individually to this email.
